All technical specifications for the new safeguards included in the Remote Gambling Act that go into effect on October 1st have been provided by the Netherlands Gambling Authority.
The main measures require Dutch online gambling operators to verify monthly deposit caps of €350 on player accounts for players older than 25. Operators are required to make sure that customers are screened for deposits under €150 per month for player accounts under 25.
The program will set a maximum deposit threshold of €700 for player accounts held by individuals over 25, and a deposit limit of €300 for player accounts held by individuals under 25.
