Dutch gambling regulator records marked decrease in match fixing reports for 2023

The report on the match-fixing allegations it received in 2023 has been made public by the Sports Betting Intelligence Unit of the Dutch gambling regulator. According to the report, the number of reports decreased by 85% from 40 in 2022 to just six in 2023.


Three instances of anomalous betting behaviors were observed, along with one instance of participants placing wagers on games they were involved in, one instance of bets on events that weren't authorized on the regulator's whitelist, and one report of betting that was forbidden.
