Dutch gambling regulator warns JOI Gaming over use of celebrities

Because JVH Gaming's JOI Gaming used celebrities to promote themselves during Jack's Racing Day, the Dutch gambling regulator has warned the company. According to the statement, there were multiple campaigns for the one-day event held last year that featured individuals deemed role models in the Netherlands, which is against Dutch gambling laws.

Photographs of celebrities posing with event staff members wearing Jack's Racing Day caps and role models signing the caps were considered breaches.

According to the Dutch gambling regulator, the role model regulations were put in place to safeguard vulnerable populations, particularly children.
