Dutch Gaming Authority penalizes Binogoal for gambling violations

The Dutch Gaming Authority has published a legislative letter proposing to change a statute that permits the use of fake identification documents to deceive operators. In addition, they fined Bingoal $428,000 for disregarding their rules. Bingoal, a gambling operator, was punished for sending adverts to young adults. Due to the fact that younger people are more prone to developing a gambling addiction, this is against the laws that have been put in place.

Great kudos to Dutch Gaming Authority for their effort in cleansing corruption in the gambling sector. This it was able to achieve by penalizing Binogoal which was found to have sent gambling adverts to young adults, an action which was found to be offensive. This would serve as a lesson to others.

The clear message being conveyed is the necessity for operators to strictly abide by the established regulations in order to safeguard consumers and uphold the integrity of the gambling market.

That is very terrible of Bino Goal. Under age and gambling is not just a legal issue but it is also ethical and moral issues. I believe they should be fined much more than that for promoting gambling to underage.

The gaming authority made the right call fining the operator for targeting young adults. Developing addictions at a young age can seriously impact lives. Laws are in place to protect vulnerable groups, all operators must follow rules or face penalties.
