In light of the Ministry of Justice and Security's impending evaluation of the Online Gambling Act, which is set to take place at the end of the year, the Dutch Online Gambling Association has demanded that the country's decision to outlaw online gambling advertising be reversed.
The Finance Minister will be in charge of the end-of-year review. In addition to the ban on advertising, there are other amendments being considered, such as prohibiting high-risk gambling and creating an emergency law to implement measures against the Online Gambling Act prior to regular reviews.
