Entain Plc has declared that it will scale down its operations and reposition the Unikrn esports business.
Entain informed its media partners this past weekend that Unikrn's affiliate program had been shut down. The esports betting site would then cease accepting deposits from users on October 9.
In an effort to expand the wagering options of the group's sportsbook portfolio, Entain purchased Unikrn in October 2021, investing in the Silicon Valley-based esports betting platform.
