Essex records rise in problem gambling

According to a recent study, 1.6 million children in the UK are growing up in homes where an adult has a "problem gambling."

It is also four times more likely for children who are exposed to gambling to develop gambling problems as adults.

The results came from the annual Treatment and Support Survey, conducted by the charitable organization GambleAware. The survey examined the use of and reported need for advice, support, and treatment among gamblers and those impacted by another's gambling.
