This week, Rochester, New Hampshire's City Council advanced a plan to establish a sportsbook in the city. A nearby mall has also been suggested as the location of a potential charitable casino. The City Council unanimously agreed on Tuesday to put the sportsbook issue up for vote on November 7. Residents can then vote on whether or not to accept the idea. The matter will be the subject of a public hearing on October 17.
