European Gaming and Betting Association report highlights improvement in gambling markets

In a recent report, the European Gaming and Betting Association celebrated the move toward multiple licensing systems for online gambling in Europe. According to the report, there are currently multiple licenses for online gambling in 27 of the 31 European nations. Comparably, in 2009 there were only seven.

According to the analysis's conclusion, Europe's most common regulatory strategy now uses the multi-licensing model. In accordance with this model, as long as businesses adhere to regulatory requirements, they are permitted to provide online gambling services locally. It states that most nations have chosen to adopt a comprehensive multi-licensing approach.
