European Gaming and Betting Association supports new EU anti money-laundering package

The European Gaming and Betting Association has endorsed the regulations that will give operators access to a single rulebook and standardized reporting requirements that will simplify national complexities, and it has welcomed the European Union's new anti-money laundering package.

Wednesday's plenary session of the European Parliament saw the approval of the EU's new anti-money laundering regulations.

Provisions for customer due diligence, beneficial owner transparency, and cryptocurrency asset use are included in the package.
