European powerhouses are monitoring Liverpool star ahead of a summer transfer

As the Bundesliga club continues its quest for a striker, German champions Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in moving Roberto Firmino from Liverpool to the Allianz Arena in the summer.

Since Firmino's contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the current campaign, Bayern is reportedly monitoring his status there.

The German powerhouses would be able to sign the 31-year-old for nothing, but the article claims that they also have other targets in mind, including Marcus Thuram and Olivier Giroud.

Given the age of two of the players mentioned above and the fact that Bayern did not replace Robert Lewandowski in the summer, the German club is searching for a temporary fix until they find a striker to guide them into the upcoming season.
