The Premier League's bottom two teams square off against one another. Southampton, who are currently last in the standings but have won two cup games recently, will be playing home to 18th-placed Everton. Because of West Ham's superior goal differential, Everton is only in the bottom three. It's odd how games line up because Wolves, another team in the Premier League's bottom four, will play the Hammers this weekend. Therefore, this weekend is significant, especially for Everton manager Frank Lampard. His squad is still having trouble, and since the season started, they have dropped two league contests, been eliminated from the FA Cup, but they did manage to draw at Manchester City. Everton had just one win in their last six league games and two points overall.
