Evidence from the MGCB Chairman suggests why the Maine iGaming bill failed.

The Maine House of Representatives rejected LD1777, a bill that would have legalized online casino gambling, due to concerns about its impact on problem gambling.

Steve Silver opposed the bill, citing potential job losses and revenue decline from cannibalization, as well as increased problem gambling risks.

He suggested revising the bill to include commercial casinos and a more open regulatory approach.

Yes definitely he is right in his opinion there should be the provision of including offline casino services so they're the bill could be more preferable for them to be accepted this will allow the industry to flourish and this is exactly how the industry should work out actually indeed
