Fake shooting reporter arrested at Rivers Casino

The individual who allegedly made up the incident while talking to a police dispatcher was recently arrested in connection with a fabricated report of a mass shooting at Rivers Casino in Illinois.

Eight people were involved in the shooting at the Des Plaines gaming property, he had reported to authorities on Saturday. Rosemont and Des Plaines police officers raced to the casino after hearing the report.

According to police, there was no such incident, and as a result of the call, there were fewer officers available to cover other areas for some time.
