Family syndicate celebrates $1million lottery win

A family who formed a syndicate at a Christmas get-together in 1994 and has been playing the same lottery numbers ever since is celebrating a £1 million win.
The mother from Peterborough, along with her three children, will each receive £250,000 after matching five main numbers and the bonus ball in the draw.

The morning following the draw, the winner's spouse noticed a notification on the National Lottery app informing them of their win.
