A case filed by FanDuel's founders against a significant group of current shareholders has been brought back to life by the New York State Court of Appeals.
In a transaction valued at $465 million, FanDuel combined with the Anglo-Irish gaming company Paddy Power Betfair in 2018. Later, the larger group changed its name to Flutter Entertainment.
The FanDuel founders contend they were taken advantage of in the transaction, as do about a hundred other shareholders.
