Federal judge absolves Caesars Entertainment of any blame in video piracy case

A federal judge sided with Caesars Entertainment and rejected an allegation that the casino had shared data with Meta Platforms through its pixel tracking code in violation of a federal video privacy law.

The ruling was the result of a 2023 lawsuit filed by an online gamer, and it was made by a U.S. District Court in New Jersey last week.
This lawsuit is just one of many that have been filed recently regarding video privacy against businesses that use tracking code on their websites.
