Finland adds gambling expenditure to economic assistance rules

The updated gambling and social benefits policy of the Social Insurance Institute of Finland will take effect in October 2024.

For Finnish communities and citizens, the Institute acts as the primary source of financial support and securities.

The institute will now consider both winnings and gambling expenses when determining financial assistance for specific recipients as a result of the new policy.
