Finland set to establish new gambling regulator

In an effort to get Finland's multi-licensing system operational by the beginning of 2027, the government is preparing to implement a new gambling regulator.
Regulation and unregulation of the markets would be overseen by a new Finnish Supervisory Agency housed in the Ministry of Finance's administrative branch.

Prior to the anticipated go-live in 2027, the government's Ministry of the Interior stated that it anticipates accepting license applications starting in 2026.
