A couple was detained by Florida authorities on suspicion of trying to turn in what appeared to be a $l million lottery ticket that was actually two losing tickets that had been sloppy sealed together.
Following his arrest, the suspect was charged with grand theft of over $100,000, presenting a fake lottery ticket, and altering a lottery ticket with the intention of defrauding. The same three charges have led to the partner's arrest.
