The group of companies that owns and operates Paddy Power, Sky Betting & Gaming, Betfair, and Tombola, Flutter UKI, has set aside £400,000 to fund community-based sports programs in the UK and Ireland.
200 community clubs that participate in a variety of sports, such as wheelchair rugby, American football, badminton, and skateboarding, will benefit from the funding, which is being given out in grants of £2,000 each.
The funds will be used by the clubs to maintain operational sustainability, upgrade their facilities, buy new equipment, and finance coaching initiatives.
