Do you fold premium starting hands too often earlier in tournaments? Holding Queen-Queen under-the-gun can be tricky, but overfolding strong hands means losing value and equity. While patience is needed and three-betting risks a fold, giving up a starting stack of BIG BLINDs so readily hands momentum to opponents. My suggestion? take some calculated risks early with premiums, outplaying opponents with expected value, aggression and observation to survive and thrive in the initial stages. What do you think, am I too loose to let Queen-Queen roll the dice under-the-gun?
