This week, a former cashier at the Monarch Casino in Colorado is still being held on suspicion of stealing $500k from the casino. The suspect says she was merely carrying out directives from casino executives.On March 12, Sabrina Eddy, 44, repeatedly took bundles of cash out of a casino cage vault at Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk. She then transferred the box to a minivan parked in the garage of the casino and departed. After an hour, Eddy allegedly returned to the casino to steal additional stacks of bills. She was allegedly caught on camera stealing the money. On the same day as the theft, Eddy was caught and lodged in the Gilpin County jail for theft. She is scheduled to appear in court soon.
