Former poker player loses $1.1million in bets on Super Bowl outcome

On Sunday night, a poker player who bills himself as "the best bettor in the world" fell short of his own hype after losing over a million dollars on the Super Bowl.

In his career as a poker player, he has made over $6.8 million in gross tournament earnings and has experienced several six-figure cashes in high roller events.

He has recently made a name for himself as a sports bettor and handicapper, claiming to have amassed an eight-figure betting career.

He didn't disclose the name of the team he was rooting for when he shared an image of his Circa sportsbook betting ticket with his X followers. He didn't do that until after kickoff.
