Former Star CEO will lead investigation into casinos

Former Star Entertainment chief executive Robbie Cooke, who resigned in March, will appear before an inquiry to determine if the casino should keep its Sydney license.

The probe follows earlier findings that Star was unfit to hold a casino license due to serious issues, including links to gang activities.

The inquiry heard that former executives resigned over exclusion and secrecy, with allegations that Cooke asked them to hide financial problems from the board.
