Former William Hill employees accused of stealing $70,000 from kiosks

A few William Hill workers were let go following an inquiry into claims of embezzlement from the company's Nevada kiosks. The Nevada Gaming Control Board, the state's gambling regulator, launched an investigation into the crime back in December 2022.

The inquiry revealed that two suspects were purportedly using separate software programs to add money to various kiosks. Subsequently, the staff members would print false invoices from the kiosks that were pre-selected, which they would then exchange for cash. The gang is thought to have used this illicit means to obtain more than $70,000.
