Founders of Clacton kids charity arrested for embezzling funds to fuel gambling addiction

After stealing money to finance gambling and pay household expenses, two leaders of a charity that was founded to assist children who were terminally ill or disabled were put in jail. According to Essex Police, the couple, who both reside on Westfield Road in Blackpool, stole over £300,000 from Kidz Come First, a charity that one of them founded in 2011.
Though some families were helped by the charity, it was discovered that the offenders had utilized sizable sums for their own benefit.
