Four bookmakers for the World Cup in Qatar were detained in Kepong.

Last Saturday, four local males were detained by the police at a home in Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong, on suspicions of working as World Cup betting agents.
The suspect was arrested following a raid carried out in accordance with Ops Soga, according to a statement released today by Sentul District Police Chief ACP Beh Eng Lai.
In the raid, which was carried out at around 10.15 p.m., the police also seized a number of things, including cell devices, modems, tablets, and computers, he added.
The suspects, who were all locals between the ages of 40 and 48, were reportedly being held in custody for three days till tomorrow for an inquiry, he said.
