The French gambling watchdog, Médiateur des Jeux, has released its yearly report in collaboration with the oversight body, L'Autorité Nationale des Jeux. According to the report, operators are either refusing or postponing account suspension procedures.
The study discovered that, in comparison to the number of problem gamblers, the number of referrals for addiction issues is still low. It did acknowledge, though, that players who did not regard themselves as problem gamblers had been complaining more frequently about account closures.
