Gamble Aware closes Charity Commission case with no criticism

Media outlets have been notified by GambleAware that the Charity Commission has concluded its investigation into the organization and its trustees without a complaint being filed.

The UK's chief commissioner of gambling harm research, education, and treatment projects, services, and organizations, The Good Law Project, filed a case against GambleAware in March, claiming that the charity had neglected its regulatory responsibilities.

A public policy non-profit, The Good Law Project, questioned the efficacy of treatment services commissioned by the charity and chastised GambleAware for disseminating misleading information about harms and suicides associated with gambling.
