GambleAware organization calls for active fight against gambling advertising

Roughly 36% of Italians and 59% of Spanish people, according to the survey, are addicted to gambling. Forty-eight percent of adults in the UK gamble. A diverse spectrum of people now find modern gambling to be highly alluring due to new technologies. Some studies have made use of the problem severity index. They found that the percentage of people with gambling issues ranged from 2.5 to 3.8 between the UK and the Netherlands. Advertising bans for gambling are becoming more and more widespread throughout Europe. Every country, except Australia, has stricter laws than the United Kingdom. Representatives of the GambleAware organisation note that rather than continuing the conversation about how to address the problem, a tough political choice must be made
