GambleAware outlines pressing need for holistic response in tackling gambling addiction

More than 100,000 people have managed the effects of gambling harm by using GambleAware's new online self-assessment tool, according to the organization.

Of these, the nonprofit stated that about 28,000 called or used the live chat feature on the National Gambling Helpline to get more assistance and information from a qualified advisor.

As part of a comprehensive approach to prevention, over 8,000 professionals from various sectors have received training to recognize the warning signs of gambling harm, which was initiated in April 2023.
 
Is good to see that positive and necessary work being done in the gambling industry to make sure that everything is happening to provide a systematic and responsible gambling environment for most of the players and they are able to get support which is definitely needed actually for the players in order to have assistance and support with their issues
