Based on research carried out by GambleAware, it has been revealed that the West Midlands holds the unfortunate distinction of having the highest rate of problem gambling nationwide. Approximately 168,000 adults in the region are impacted by this issue. This accounts for 3.9% of the population, a figure that surpasses the national average for gambling-related problems by 25%.
