GambleAware survey finds support for advertising rules

Stricter laws governing gambling advertisements are strongly supported by the public, according to new research commissioned by GambleAware, the premier nonprofit organization in the UK dedicated to informing people about the dangers of gambling and developing prevention and treatment plans.

According to data from a market research firm, 67% of people believe there are too many gambling advertisements in the media, and 66% are worried about the negative effects of gambling advertisements on minors.
