Gambler loses €2,500 at Casino de Monte-Carlo and assaults partner

A Nice restaurant manager was given a six-month prison sentence and a five-year ban from Monaco by the criminal court of the Principality. The 41-year-old man was found guilty at the Casino de Monte-Carlo of using domestic violence.

For their evening out, the couple had gone to the casino. Sadly, things didn't go as planned, and the man ended up losing €2,500 in total that evening.

Then, a compulsive gambler, he asked his partner to withdraw €2,000 so he could keep playing and make up his losses. He became angry and physically attacked her when she refused to comply.
