A shameful gambling addict who embezzled her mother's inheritance to feed her addiction has escaped punishment.
The suspect lost everything when she broke into her mother's safe, which held £10,000 in cash for internet gambling. After her father passed away, the defendant's mother received £15,000 from Newcastle Moot Court and gave her daughter £5,000.
