Gambling Commission enforces new quarterly reporting requirements

A new requirement that has been imposed on license holders by the Gambling Commission is the quarterly submission of regulatory returns. With effect from July 1st, all licensees are required to file their returns no later than 28 days following the end of each quarter.

Any prior returns, including data up to June 30, 2024, are now due by either July 28, 2024, or August 11, 2024, depending on the particular operating license, per the revised schedule. Returns must be received by October 28, 2024, for the first new reporting period, which runs from July 1 to September 30, 2024.

The governments is really making money from the gambling sector. Making licensed gambling operators to file in returns quarterly is meant to keep them on their toes in compliance to regulatory provisions.
