Gambling Commission intensifies efforts to combat unlicensed gambling

The Gambling Commission of Great Britain has presented its strategy for combating unlicensed gambling, highlighting the significance of this endeavor in reducing criminal activity associated with gambling.

The strategy of the Commission, which has been explained by the Chief Executive, is to disrupt illicit operators by means of a combination of regulatory enforcement, cooperation with important industry partners, and a greater use of data analytics.

Since April, the Commission has issued over 750 Cease and Desist and disruption notices, including 259 to operators and 189 to advertisers, demonstrating the substantial results of its efforts.
