A paper examining the connection between gambling behaviour and Problem Gambling Severity Index scores was released today by the Gambling Commission. Based on data from the Gambling Survey for Great Britain, this paper demonstrates a connection between certain gambling behaviours and problem gambling experiences. This is predicated on the idea that problem gambling is defined as having a Problem Gambling Severity Index score of 8 or higher, and that certain gambling behaviors are linked to this, without accounting for other variables like an individual's demographics or overall gambling behavior.
