Gambling contributes $329 billion to the US economy.

The economic impact of tribal and commercial gaming in the United States reached $328.6bn (£267.9bn/ €309.9bn) in 2022, as reported by the American Gaming Association (AGA). Oxford Economics conducted a recent study on behalf of the AGA, revealing these findings. Additionally, around 1.8 million individuals are employed in the US gaming sector, with wages and salaries totaling $104bn. The direct employment within the industry amounts to 700,000 people. Consequently, federal, state, and local governments benefit from the industry's tax contributions, amounting to $52.7bn.
