Gambling losses in Queensland now exceed AU$5 billion per year.

According to the data, it can be observed that there has been an increase of 11.3% in gambling losses in the state compared to the previous fiscal year. During that time, the losses amounted to AU$4.6 billion ($2.94 billion). These figures also surpass the losses recorded in 2018-19, before the global pandemic, which totaled AU$4.3 billion.
