Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland partners with Advertising Standards Authority

To address complaints about gambling advertising, the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland and the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland have reached an agreement.

The Gambling Regulation Bill was passed in mid-October, which cleared the way for the establishment of the Gambling Regulatory Authority, which is expected to start monitoring Ireland's betting companies by the middle of 2025.

Restrictions on gambling advertising are one of the many measures included in this long-awaited legislation. The goal of this partnership is to protect the public in this way.
