The Dutch Gaming Authority fined Gammix Limited, an online casino company based in Malta, 19.7 million euros for providing players in the Netherlands with unlicensed gaming. This is the largest fine the gaming authority has ever assessed, and it was applied to a business that had already paid four million euros in fines for comparable infractions. The previous record was a fine of 10 million euros against Videoslots Unlimited and 12 million euros against N1 Interactive Limited.
