In 2023, UK self-exclusion program GAMSTOP reported a 9.5% increase in new registrations, with over 92,000 vulnerable individuals joining, reaching a total of 433,000.

The data highlighted a 31% rise in 16 to 24-year-olds signing up during the second half of the year, accounting for 21% of new registrations.
