In a report on the first half of 2023, Gamstop stated that it has tallied 48,000 new registrations, which represents an increase of 12%. The new consumers chose to abstain from gaming, and many of them went with the longest exclusion time that the business allowed. Gamstop claims that 50% of those who registered with it picked the five-year exclusion, the longest duration offered on the marketplace. The exclusion expert saw that 71% of the new users were men and 29% were women.
