Employees at the 14 Ontario locations of Gateway Casinos are incensed with the company's response to an earlier this year cyberattack. The gaming floors had to close for two weeks as a result of that occurrence. On April 16, Gateway Casinos in the Canadian province immediately stopped operating their casinos. Gateway claimed that as a result of the ransomware incident, the company was unable to continue with its regular business operations.
