German court supports gambling regulator ban against Swiss payment provider

In Germany, transactions involving unlicensed gambling operators are prohibited from being handled by an unidentified Swiss payment provider.

The regulator noted that the court's support for applying a more expansive interpretation of the ban than is customary was significant. The usual requirement for these penalties is "prior notification of specific gambling offers." The provider will be prohibited from participating in both current and prospective future unregulated gambling transactions, though.
