German gambling regulator asks more internet sites to block Lottoland Group

Since Lottoland's offer was illegal, the regulator launched two administrative actions in July to prevent access. Three additional ISPs are now being asked to block access in a similar manner as the authorities "step up the fight."

The regulator, which has been in charge of overseeing iGaming in Germany since July 1st, launched its first enforcement campaign against Lottoland.

The authority claimed that in an attempt to remove Lottoland's services "off the market," it had already compelled a number of payment processors to "terminate cooperation" with the group.
