Gov. Burgum consents to lowering the gambling age at tribal casinos in North Dakota

The law will go into effect in the state's tribally controlled casinos, enabling bets to be placed by gamblers who reside on reservations using credit or debit cards.
Players will be able to access online sports betting through mobile devices under this new agreement, provided they are inside reservation limitations.
In response to the most recent compact update, Burgum stated: "We look forward to maintaining the mutually advantageous gaming collaboration between the province and the sovereign native groups with which we share territory and we are extremely thankful to the tribal chairs as well as their legislators for their collaborative efforts throughout these many lengthy negotiations."
