The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno has agreed to pay a $250,000 fine to resolve a regulatory complaint with the Nevada Gaming Commission. The issue stemmed from an incident last year when the resort’s staff did not promptly allow an agent from MEI-GSR Holdings, LLC to access the Grand Theatre during a routine inspection. This failure led the Nevada Gaming Control Board to file a formal complaint against the resort, which the resort has now settled by agreeing to the fine.
